Please also check out the tab showing what we have in our farm shop.
What they all have in common is that they are grown without the use of pesticides.
Many good reasons to pick berries yourself:
Pick your own is the best way to get the freshest produce. There's no doubt that berries, vegetables and herbs taste much better when they're freshly picked. They lose flavor quickly after picking, so if you want a nice intense taste, pick your own is a good idea.
We offer a wide range of berries, vegetables and herbs for self-picking. Everything is grown according to regenerative principles, which means we don't use artificial fertilizers and chemical pesticides. We make our own compost, which is added to the field to restore and build a rich life in the soil.
The time of year in the garden:
Berries. We offer three different varieties of strawberries (Dahli, Sunsation, and Faithe), which means we can extend the fresh strawberry season. We expect to have strawberries in June and early July. We also offer gooseberries (green and red), black currants, aronia berries, and blackberries.
Vegetables. During the summer there are many different kinds.
Herbs. There will be a selection of lovely herbs that can be used fresh but also for pickling and pestos.
Flowers. We make a small flower bed of various lovely summer flowers that are suitable for making bouquets. Just to name a few of the species: Dahlias, Proud Cavalier and Sunflowers.
