Fuglsanggaard is the ideal place for those who want to stay in the middle of nature close to forest and beach. You can choose between two different vacation rentals. The old barn with 5 permanent beds in two bedrooms and the option of an extra bed. Or the Annex with two permanent beds and the option of an extra bed.

Layout: Entrance hall with access to a large lovely bathroom and access to the living room/kitchen area. The living room has a cozy sofa arrangement overlooking the terrace, a dining area with seating for 8 and a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, microwave and fridge/freezer.

In the living room, there is a large glass section with a garden door that gives direct access to the private west-facing terrace. The terrace overlooks the fields with plenty of opportunities to see a variety of wildlife. The terrace is furnished with a large garden table, chairs, parasol and barbecue.

From the living room there is access to two bedrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a large double bed and a small desk. The other bedroom is furnished with a bunk bed, where the lower bed is a double bed and the upper bed is a single bed. In both rooms there is a chest of drawers with a hanging rail.

· Pets are not allowed at “Stalden.”

Holiday home no. 2: The Annex

The annex is ideal for two people with the option of an extra bed.

Layout: From the courtyard you enter the entrance hall with doors to the bathroom and to the living room. The living room is furnished with a large double bed, dining table and a well-equipped kitchenette with two hotplates and a fridge with freezer compartment, making it possible to prepare your own meals. From the living room there is direct access to the large park-like garden, where you will find your very own private south-facing terrace with garden furniture, garden fireplace and barbecue.

Pets are allowed at the Annex.

Activities:

At Fuglsanggård: We’ve set up a pick-your-own garden with berries, fruits, and vegetables. From June through well into the fall, you can pick berries and vegetables. If you’d rather not pick them yourself, you can buy the same items in the farm store, where you can also find homemade jam and ice cream made from our own pesticide-free berries. Beer and juice from a local brewery, frozen veal and pork from Velfærdskød on Møn, and a whole lot more. Throughout the season, there will be various events in the garden.

Hiking in the Area: The Sjællandsleden, a network of hiking trails stretching over 1,000 km, runs right past Fuglsanggård. But if you’re not into very long hikes, you can, for example, take a walk down to the nearby bird sanctuary at Maderne. It’s beautifully situated at the entrance to Præstø Fjord. Or take a walk through the woods with a view of the sea and the chance to see seals relaxing on the rocks out in the water.

Slightly longer trips: The location at beautiful Jungshoved is ideal for trips to Møens Klint, Stevns Klint (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and not least a visit to the fantastic town of Præstø with great shopping and several restaurants, including Frederiksminde with a Michelin star. There are several castles, parks and museums in the area that are well worth a visit. Or take a day trip to Copenhagen.

Practical information:

• Bed linen and towels are included in both vacation rentals.

• As a rule, there are no meals included in your stay.

Common to both vacation rentals is that we also rent them out through Airbnb and booking.com. On their websites you can easily see when they are available, but you decide whether you want to book directly with us or through one of the two.

Facilities:

Laundry: Both apartments have access to a washing machine and dryer in a small bathroom with access directly from the courtyard. Price per wash: DKK 30,- Price per drying: DKK 30,-.

Grill: Available at both homes. Free to use, but you must buy your own charcoal.
